bat with: ECHO OFF ECHO STUFF 'G:SteamLibrarysteamappscommonStarboundwin32assetunpacker.exe' 'G:SteamLibrarysteamappscommonStarboundassetspacked. bat files are for windows only) Open starbound and you should see a pale bald human with the female wearing green in your list. bat file and choose a name longer than 3 characters, lowercase only, no spaces. The initial round trip still needs to be completed once per character. The gist is that in your starbound folder save a file as a. Starting with a fresh template: Unzip the file and put it into your mods folder. Yes, once that is done they can simply teleport back to the hub whenever they want. This means flying back to wherever they came from after flying to the hub location to register the teleporter location. I don't want all of my characters working the same section of the universe, they need to remain spread out. Or maybe you aren't seeing what I'm trying to say. Unless teleporter coordinates are automatically shared between characters, I don't see what you're trying to say. I dont think you understand, place a tele on your base, travel there once and add the location, you should be able to warp in from your ship now. That's a *lot* of moon mining, not to mention the very real possibility of getting lost en route on any single trip. The problem is that the characters still need multiple full fuel tanks to actually reach the teleporter, and then more to return to whatever sector of the universe they were in before. Originally posted by Sirus:That goes without saying. The rest of the instructions are on the site. Then just click on the characters name, enter the new name and click ok. What's the best way to trade items between characters? Is there a mod that does this? Do I need to do some private server shenanigans? Then you need to figure out which one of the files is the one you want to edit (just select them and click 'Upload File and Start Editing, if its not the right character, just go back and try another file). And then fuel for the return to each character's normal territory. Now I would need several full tanks for a single one-way trip to any possible hub world. My most recent attempt involved trying to pick some easy-to-remember coordinates with a barren world nearby, then flying there with enough fuel for two round trips and building some sort of depot, but I guess an update changed how fuel works. Older characters might need to go through the following steps if the shipworld is: stuck on the tier 8, has unmovable items. I tried using the storage furniture in the Outpost to move some things (since progress in the Outpost persists between characters, I figured perhaps the Outpost itself was persistent) but the items disappeared without a trace. 1: backup your player folder (its in starbound\storage\player) 2: clean up your ship before accepting this quest. I use Frackin Races so that each race has different stats, bonuses with different weapon types, etc.I have quite a few characters as a result, and some of them have items that I'd really rather be in the hands of other characters.
